pay NAPA for porting?

my local NAPA auto parts has a full "machine service." Can I trust them to port my manifold and plenum? I'm not sure if they would know anything about TPI. How much do you think they should charge for it? Thanks.

I seriously doubt they do any porting. Most parts store/machine shops only do repair type stuff, not performance work like porting or modifications.

i suppose you're probably right. I know they will polish the outside of the plenum and runners for a small fee, but I don't know about real porting.

Well NAPA in Ohio has a machine shop and they do awesome work. I know the manager of the shop and all of his guys are ASE certified mechanics. I dont know about your NAPA but thats the only place we go.
