i have a 90rs im in the middle of makin it a tpi. goin with a sd setup. one prob cant get my hands on an ecm. and if i do no prom grrr!! well any ways im lookin for a cheap prom thinkin of jet prefomance chip found it on a site for 150 . what are u guys using where did u get it and how much. also what do u think of the jet preformace chip? thanks for the imput.

 

why can't you get the prom from the dealer? 30-45 dollars I think. I payed 30 but, I get the discount and it was an 88 so I don't know what you would pay. I think if you can get the ecm do it. the prom is the less of your worries right now. you can learn how to program your own prom and just skip the after market bull.

 

well i called the local dealer today. they said they wanted 800 bucks!! i was like for the chip that goes inside the comp? and the guy was like yeah. and i need a vin num to get it. so i think if jet chip replaces the prom im just gonna get one of those i really want some help here
