Clutch wont hold @ 500 HP
What are you guys running for clutches in the same HP range as me??
My clutch just won't hold, it burns halfway down the track. I've tried the basic s/r clutches from autozone. They worked ok when I wasn't running a blower..

I'm not even sure if there is a clutch made for a T5 that will handle that kind of power. Maybe a Centerforce? I'm surprised that the tranny is holding up behind that much power. I'm willing to bet if you did get a clutch that wouldn't slip, you would end up killing that T5 on your 1-2 or 2-3 shift.
Slipping Clutch
Hi Anesthes,
You'll need to upgrade to a larger disc, pressure plate. There are many styles of clutches. 500 HP is no problem if you follow the rules. It's the clutch you're using. If you have any questions e-mail me @ <mike@fortesparts.com>.

Are you Mike Forte from "fortey's parts connection" ??
Lemme know, I've looked at RAM, Hays, etc. and they recommend not using hydraulic clutch linkage. WHich is all new, so I don't feel like ripping it out and putting in a Z bar.
