T-56 specs
anybody know the dementions of the input shaft on a T-56, lenth, width, spline, legnth of splined section, and total legnth of the tranny, with and without the bellhousing???

These are for an aftermarket T-56 for use with the T-5 bellhousing.
Input shaft length - 6.66"
26 Spline input shaft
27 Spline output shaft
Total length (including bellhousing) - 33.29"
Length (not including bellhousing) - 27"
Gear ratios: 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, 0.74, 0.50
These are for a stock '93-'97 LT1 T-56
Input shaft length - 9.188"
26 Spline input shaft
27 Spline output shaft
Total length - 31.282"
Length - 26.4"
Gear ratios: '93: 2.97, 2.07, 1.43, 1.00, 0.80, 0.62
Alternate '93: 3.36, 2.07, 1.35, 1.00, 0.80, 0.62
'94-'97: 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, 0.74, 0.50
