wich transmission?

wich transmission is better for a street/strip car a th-350 or 700R4? I currnetly have a th-350 in the car with a mild shift kit, but have a 700r4 in my parts car? looking for opnions with reasoning.

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
700R4 is a street tranny. You don't need the OD on the strip and the spread between the 1-2 shift is too great for a good strip tranny. The TH350 has a better gear ratio and is lighter.

Depending on your diff gear ratio and tire size will determine what is better. You shouldn't go more than 3.73 with the TH350 if you plan on any daily driving especially at highway speeds.
