I call to get an estimate to install a Vette Servo, Noyoyo/Syskokal Kit, and Transgo Reprogramming Kit. The guy told me it would cost $450.00, do you think that this is a reasonable price for labor or should I continue to shop around. He said he will not warrant the transmission, I guess because the transmission is out of the car. just trying to get a feel for what people are paying for this type of service and will it be any heartburn without any warranty or should I seek a warranty. Also he said they usually dont take trans that has been taken out of the car, so thats why I figure he will not give warranty. HELP????

Either he suspects you're an idiot or he lacks confidence/experience in what you are asking him to do.

The idiot part is beacause he is afraid you don't know
enough to distinguish between an installation related
problem and one associated with the work he does.

The confidence/experience part is simply not having
done enough of the work to know what to expect.

Find somebody else ...
