New 700r4 still wont shift right

In the week that I've had it in, I still can't get it to shift right even after adjusting the TV many times including every which way that I've read, on and off the boards. If I go more then 50mph, it just wont downshift out of 3rd or 4th gear, but under 50 feels just fine. Sometimes it will take 2 or 3 seconds to shift into third when I'm in the gas pretty good after starting out of D. And my 1-2 **** doesn't feel as hard as it should be cause I had a vette servo and some other goodies installed when I bought it. Could there be any cause for this besides the TV? Any help would be great.

The only thing I could think of off hand is the throttle valve assebly coluld have been installed wrong. This is always a possibility if the valve body was out.

Well I 99% ruled out that it is the trans itself cause I remember the old tranny doing the same thing right after I dropped in my 350. Because I used Vortec heads, I couldn't mount my stock TV bracket in the exact same manner, but got it close with a little fabrication. But as long as the TV cable has full range of motion, it "should" work just the same as long as it is adjusted properly right? Is it possible that the TV cable could bad without noticeing while adjusting it? Are there any signs that a TV cable is damaged or bad? I figured that my next step would be to pull the pan and have someone go to WOT to make sure the plunger is seated 100% Any other suggestions would be great.
