Car: 1985 Z28 Camaro

Engine: 5.0 TPI

Transmission: 700R-4

Axle/Gears: Posi Richmond 3.73

700 converter plug

I was told that a newer 700 trany has a different plug for the torque converter than the older ones do. I have an '85 Z28 and found a trany out of an '89 IROC at a salvage yard and I was wondering if it'll work or not.
