They do not exist, unless this is some very recent thing that I somehow haven't heard of. 99% sure the answer is no.

 

not till the 5l60e comes out in the c6 vette, it is supposed to have lateral g meters so it holds a lower gear in a turn.

You maybe thinking about the 4+3 tranny used on 84-88 vettes.

Its a super t10 4 spd, with a 2spd powerglide, you drove it as a normal 4pd, then could engage the overdrive in 4th for a 5th gear.

You could also engage the OD unit in 2nd, 3rd, or forth so you would have 7 foward gears

They could be retrofited to other cars, but the shifter doesnt bolt to the tail shaft, it bolts directly to the vettes body, so you'd have to rig up a bracket.

They've gone to a rear transaxle anyway.
