Electric speedo sender for a TH-350?

I have a dash from a '90 Camaro I am going to install. I plan on using the Dakota Digital SGI-5 box. Their web site doesn't give much info on the GM sender they have. I have a TH-350. I went to the junkyard and found a TH-700 sender but it's not gonna fit. It needs a much bigger hole than what the TH-350 has. What about the Cyberdyne sender that Jegs sells? I am not running a computer. Any ideas?

Thanks,

There are two different housings for a 350 trans. Get the one off of a Buick w/ 350 it will take the 700R4 speedo sleeve.

If I get the Buick th-350 tail housing and get a 700 r4 electric sender will I need to change the gear on the output shaft too? Will the 700 r4 speedo sender even work with the gear on the output shaft? Is the gear on the output shaft of an electric speedo 700 r4 the same as one on a th-350 (except maybe tooth count)? If it will work, should the Dakato Digital box be able to compensate? If I am pulling the tail housing I just want to make sure I only have to do it once.

Thanks

1.depends on the gear ratio you are going to use

2.yes it will work with the 700R4 sender

3.yes, they are the same

4. figure the rear end ratio and tire size and get the matching gears, then that is all you will need.
