what gears to use with t56

what gears should i use with my t56 tranny i was thiking 4.10s but i dont know if thats to low

If you have the t-56 with the really low geared in 6th then go with the 4.10s. From what i've heard it u won't even have in real problems with gas mileage

my tranny is out of a 96 camaro i dont know the gears in it

the gear ratio is on websites and on ebay you have a low 6th gear so 4.10 gears will work fine

Transmission: T56

Axle/Gears: 4.10 GM 7.5 10-bolt

4.10's

I have a '96 T56 and 4.10 gears in my '92. It works perfect. I can cruise at around 75 mph at just over 2000 rpm and 100 is around 2700 rpm. The first gear ratio is a 2.66, 5th is .76, and sixth is .50. Good luck.
