TH350?? or 700R4???

I think it's soo funny... I read soo much on this 3rd gen list about people wanting to swap TH-350s into their f-bodies.. and then on the 2nd gen list (www.nastyz28.com) I read about people there all wanting to drop 700R4s into their 2nd gens!!!

I don't understand why anyone would want to switch from a OD to TH350, unless it's an all-out race car and doesn't see the street. Well, I guess if you run 2.73's out back then the TH350 isn't so rough to drive on the street....

Probably because 350s are so cheap to get. And 700s cost more to rebuild, and are finiky. Every thing has to be just right for them to work right. My buddy and I built the one I'm running now, and I don't like it at all. Getting ready to do another one with the transgo, and warner clutches. Using s shift technoligy kit in this one, never again.
