the richmond 6 is about as strong as your going to get for a reasonable price. Theres a c3 on corvette forum running a 1000hp blown big block with a richmond 6.

Phone up richmond, ask if they can do anything else to beef it up, and order numerically lower gears, they'll be stronger.
