I recently purchased a 700R4 for my 85 Z28 since mine had developed the infamous 3-4 clutch failure. The trans that I got came out of an '86 Astro van. My question is if anybody knows if the valve bodies and govs are the same on both of them or if i need to change them. Since I've installed the trans, the shift from 1-2 occurs at 3500 RPM, 2-3 at 3200 RPM, and doesn't go into 4th (OD). Shifts are the same at part throttle and full throttle. I've adjusted the TV cable many times using all kinds of instructions. Any help would be appreciated.
