Transmission: 700r4, t-56
Axle/Gears: stock posi 2.73, 12 bolt with 4.11s
part number for 7.5 rear pinion seal
does any one know the part number
and also does anyone know how much fluid a stock 7.5 rear takes

From the Ratech kit...
Hey.
I pulled the pinion seal from my Ratech kit and all I can see on it is "SLI 15305" on the nitrile/rubber/whatever lip (and a "4" 180 degrees from that, but I don't think that makes a difference here). Nothing on the metal portion of the seal.
I bought three quarts of synthetic gear oil, with the idea that I would get the car level and add until it will take no more. I have heard different figures but all were over two quarts...
