T/H-200C to T/H-350 conversion

HELP!!!!!!!! urggghh!!! Ok am having some serious tension here. I hve a 83 Pontiac Firebird with a 2.5 liter "IronDuke" 4-cylinder motor. I will be putting a V-8 a lil ways down the road from now. The car has a T/H-200C in it and its fried....won't turn for anything. I am going to need a new transmission. I was figuring that if I put a V-8 in I will need a much, much stronger transmission. So I was gonna buy a rebuilt T/H-350 aka "Turbo 350" automatic. But I asked around and called a few transmission shops. I can't get a "for-sure" answer. All I get is opinions. All i seem to hear is that the bellhousing on the T/H-350 would be too big for the 4-cylinder motor....and that they think a T/H-350 would fit being tht it is a rear wheel drive car and has a GM motor. So I don't know. I need to know if the T/H-350 would bolt right up to the 2.5 "Iron Duke" 4-cylinder? PLEASE HELP ME!

Oh the 2.5L 4-cylinder i the same motor used in S-10 in the mid-80's.

i don't know if the 2.5 has the same bolt patern as a SBC, all you need do is look, i tihnk you could see the bolts. the th350 will fit the chassis, you'll need b&m pn30299 for the torque arm forward mount. get the longer tail shaft 350, 9" i tihnk. do a search o nhere it's been asked a 100 times.
