I'm in the process of swapping a t-5(from a 87 Bird) into an 87 IROC that had a 700r4. Problem is the t-5 has a speed sensor for the speedo and the IROC has a cable driven speedo. Is there a conversion kit to solve this problem and if there is where can I get one? If there is no kit what year did Camaros start to get electric speedos? Thanks for the help!

 

No kit. It's too simple to need a kit.

All you need is the speedo gear housing and the driven gear to go in it. You can get both pieces at the dealer.
