T5 ball stud
T5 ball stud
Anyone know where I can purchase a clutch fork stud ball for my 83 T5? My clutch is manual, I can get the fork no problem, however I seem to be having trouble finding the stud ball that it pivots on, even my local dealer can't find one. Thanks

Consider changing it over to a hydraulic system... I did that on my 83, it's a night & day difference.
You would need a bell housing, fork, hydraulics, and the entire pedal assembly including the 2 little braces that go from the pedal pivot bolt to the master cylinder U-bolt. Any V8 F car from 84-92 can be the donor. You have to add 2 holes in the firewall where the U-bolt goes, and enlarge the hole where the rubber boot over the rod now is. It's a piece of cake.

actually you could get the pedals, and hydrualics, from any 5 speed f-body, mine for example are from a 4 cylinder car, everything is bolted up and seems to fit fine, i haven't been able to try them out as i don't have my clutch/flywheel yet
edit, the bellhousing naturally has to be from a v8 if thats what you have,
