Hey PIMPINPHIL,
Are you talking about a stock replacement, or are you doing a 6-speed conversion? If you need a flywheel for a 6-speed it is possible to use a stock LT-1 flywheel if you have it re-drilled for the 2-piece rear main seal crank's bolt pattern and have it neutral balanced by a competent machine shop. When I got my 6-speed it came with a flywheel which the guy I got it from told me had been re-drilled and neutral balanced. The holes looked a little weird, but I installed it and it works perfect! and it's gonna be a lot cheaper than a new flywheel. If you're looking for a stock replacement for a t-5 I dunno for sure about that, although I do have an extra one
. One benefit though with the t-56 flywheel is that it's the same diameter as the t-5 flywheel but accepts an 11 inch clutch
I believe, however that there is a difference in the thickness of the flywheel so I don't know if it'd work with a stock 5 speed. Well, good luck!
