How do you adjust a clutch??

How do we adjust the clutches on our cars? My pedal feels high and I want to try adjusting it. Thanks, and pictures are welcome if necessary.

No adjustment of the clutches in these cars, for the same reason you don't adjust disk brakes.

So are you saying that since my clutch pedal feels high, my clutch is worn out and it's time for a new one?

i don't think rb said your clutch is worn, or not worn either way. he said there's no adjustment. my clutch engages at about 80% of full travel on the pedal and i know it's a new clutch with 1500 miles or less on it.

its not time for a new one untill it slips REAAAALLLLLLY bad, i bought a truck a year ago for $50, the kid sold it because the tranny was bad, so he thought. turned out it was the clutch, the disk had no material left on it at all, it was shredded and laying in the bell housing, and the disk looked like a fan.

now i have a work beater that i only have $200 in other than regular oil changes its the only toyota i'll ever be glad to have had

the moral of the story, there isn't one, except that our f-body clutches are not adjustable, they set them selves.
