i am really looking to put in posi and 3.73 gears, i am just trying to find out what size rear end is in the back of my 92 camaro rs.
also what are all the parts i will need for this project too. i dont have to worry about the install because a tech at the chevy dealer is going to install them for me.

you have a 7.5 or 7.62 (they're the same) 10 bolt. to find the ratio you have pull the rear cover and it'll be stamped on the ring gear ,just do the math. you need a gear set and an install kit plus the new gear oil and posi additive.

 

im pretty sure all camaro rs's auto came with 2.73 gears. Id get 3.42s if i were u so u stay in ure powerband. Get 3 series gears 3.23 and higher and get the slp zexel torsen diff from www.slponline.com its only 99 dolars
