just a quick question

I bought my car from a buddy of mine and he had an Auto Zone clutch in it with a lifetime warranty. I know I need to replace the throw out bearing and probably clutch fork. what do I do to get a new clutch from auto zone. do I just take the old one in and get a new one. anyone know the procedure. do they have to check it on the car?

i got a complete clutch kit from auto zone since that's how the parts were bought originally, by a previous owner, we just used her phone number. told the guy the throw out bearing was making a noise and we weren't going to put used clutch and preasure plate back in. they didn't really want to give up the whole kit but they didn't put up much of a fight either since we were standing there with all the parts in our hands.
