About 2 years ago I threw a 350 carb into my camaro instead of my 305 tbi. Ive been more than happy with the results, except for the fact that my car when I have it in gear like drive or overdrive and I punch it will shift at like 3500 instead of the 5000 or the 5500 that it did stock. So I decided to read the tech articles and it tells about how the converter wont lockup when you switch to carb. My question is the converter not locking causing my car to shift prematurely when I punch it in drive, ive tried the tv cable everything and nothing causes it to change. Please any help would be apprecatiated. Also I have a 4.10 richmond gear in my car, where would I have to go or call to get a spedometer gear that matches that gear rating?
