Anyone know the weight difference

between a 700r4 and a t56?

from my lifting them both.. well lifting them a few inches anyways.. i would say (and this is totaly my guessing) about 15 pounds, but that is with the torque convertor out..... i do know that the t-5 is alot lighter though. but the t-56 can easily be lifted by 2 people.. ill try to get a more accurate measure tomorrow

ok u have got my interested in this. and this is what i have found so far..

a t-56 weighs 121 (wet)
a t-5 weighs 82 lbs (dry)
a 4L60 (pretty much exact same thing as 700r4) 164 (dry).. 184(wet)


this is the weight without flywheels clutches etc...
