Tv cable

Here is my problem I adjusted my cable because it was causing the car to shift to hard. Now that I adjusted it it shifts too soft and too soon, now I have no power above 3000 because I from what I can guess it stays in overdrive instead of kicking down.
Which way do I adjust the the slider,do I pull it towards the front of the car of towards the firewall to make it shift harderco???

If its adjusted properly, you shouldn't have to make any changes, but moving the slider towards the firewall will make it shift later and harder, but it may come back out the first time you hit WOT.

I don't see how the TV Cable would effect operation of the Secondaries, unless the cable was preventing you from going WOT, but the Secondaries not opening would explain your loss of power at 3,000 RPM.
