I'm trying to mate my 2004r trans. to my small block chevy and can't seem to get the converter back as far as it should go[trans/converter from an 86 olds cutlass]. Got it to pull-up but can,t move flex plate.Never had this problem with a 350 trans.Is there a trick to seating the 200r4 converter?
