Destroyed my trans.. going from scratch

Ok well last Sunday was our last offical crusie night for Winnipeg, C'mon you guy remember the Winnipeg Jets, ya thats where i am. Anyways the tranny just wouldn't shift into reverse and it was slipping in first gear. Any rate it is obviously time for a rebuild. I was looking at this for a complete redo. A Pro-built Street/Strip 700r4 rebuild kit and a B&M Holeshot 3000 lock-up Torque converter. The converter im getting for about 440bux american brand new, which seems like a good deal to me. And im guessing i'll have to pay cost on the rebuild kit. Then im taking the whole thing on a flatbed to a reputable Transmission's only shop in my city, It just so happens one of my uncles brothers owns it.... Hmmm how convienent pour moi!!

Is the 3,000 rpm stall from B&M a 12" unit?

Nope i checked it out. Its a 10in unit. I heard the 12 inch units are like a death trap for the tranny.
