i just got a 700R4 out of a '89 camaro with 69,000 miles, i got a really good deal on it, $150. the tranny shifted beutifully when i drove the car that is was in. the only problem is that the guy had a higher performance TC in it, not sure what kind or stall it was, but he wanted to keep it. So now i dont have a torque converter for the new 700R4. the question is, i do have a stock TC from a v6 700R4, will that work?? i also have a turbo 350 TC, will that work?? any advice will be greatly appriaciated. if none of these will work what would a good stall for a mild 350 be, with 3.42 gears??
