what transmission...

came on a 87 berlinetta with a 305 4 bbl? my friend just lost his tranny on a 2.8 and i want to know if the one off my parts car will fit.

No.

It's the same model of trans, basically similar inside, but the bolt pattern on the outside is different. A V8 trans will not bolt to a 60° V6.
