rear end question

i was just readin the thread about the posi and limited slip and lockers and all that and i was wondering why do my buddies stock irock and my other buddies stock 85 t/a do posi burnouts n i do these little one wheel peels if they are not true posi like the drag carsi was just wondering what i would need to make my rear end closer to posi and what gear would be a good ratio for a 305TBI without killin gass mileage in the city and makin eyerything all weird and needing adjustment

Mayby you do dont have a Limited Slip rear. Check your RPO numbers for G80.

but if i punch it off the line it leaves two marks one on each side and when it chrips it leaves marks it leaves two into second gear but it wont powerbrake and do posi

For your info Posi-trac and Limited Slip are the same THING!

i know what u mean but what makes one do two wheeled burnouts compared to the other doing a one wheel peel if they are both limited slip could it be a stronger unit or is it just the different in gears
