money is really tight lately and i really want to see what the new 383 can do but i need a tranny. i have a th400 sittin out back that worked fine when pulled little over a year ago. should i put a transgo shift kit in it and use that or wait till i work fulltime again this summer and buy a th350.

if you use the th400 you'll need an aftermarket torque arm the th350 you'll need a b&m pm 30299 for the torque arm, lot cheaper

i thought the hurst kit had everything to mount the eninge minus the driveshaft? there isnt a mounting adapter plate to use the stock torque arm? i thou ght ones was included in the hurst swap kit
