I have a BW 9 bolt with disc brakes. Unfortunately, I have a bent axle. Another member on the board said that he can get me another axle but it is from a car with drum brakes. My question is, did GM use the same axles for both setups? Will it work with my car? or, can an axle ever be straightened by a machine shop?

i think you can use it.. i know that different rears came with different number of splines on the axles..
