Will I need the Twin Disk Clutch???

I have a 388 miniram motor. I will be putting a ATI procharger on it and gonna be running about 9lbs of boost on it. I'm looking for about 500 RWHP and would like to know if i need to upgrade my single disc mcleod clutch to their twin disk?

Maybe I dont know.....have heard good and bad things about them.

Here's what I did my stock one, after sending the SPEC stage 2 back casue it was slipping as well.....

I have heard really good things about SPEC and nothing bad so I am willing to try them again with a different clutch... might want to try them...

I wonder if anyone has any experience with the stage 3. The stage 4 sounds like a strickly track only clutch. My camaro is a daily driver so i think the SPEC stage 3 would be the higest i would go. But, i don't know how it compares to the Street Twin Disk Clutch as far as feel, longevity, and how it compares to the really high performance single disk clutchs. See I would rather go to a twin disk clutch setup if i couldn't use the stage 2 because the stage 3 SPEC is equalivant to my mcleod clutch i believe and this mcleod clutch chatters on engagement and doesn't like a little slippage. In techincal terms, it has little or no marcel. It is a good clutch as far a as performance, but its borderline for a everyday driver.
