I have a 91 S10 with an L98 and 700r4 from a 92 IROC . The other day I installed a B&M Pro Stick shifter .When I went to try it out, the trans. stayed in 1st. gear, it would not up shift. I have park, reverse, and neutral but no up shift from first. When installing the shifter I had to manually shift the lever on the side of the trans. quite a few times ,while adjusting the cable.Is it possible that I got something stuck or disconected while manually moving the lever? The only thing that has changed is the shifter . Thanks for any help .
