looking torque converter suggestions/advice

ok.. mods should be listed at the bottom(don't remember it's been so long since I've posted here!).. In the spring I was planning on changing my torque converter as I'm still using the stock one which apparantly has a very low stall(because it's a truck).. I email'd tci a while back and asked what they suggested here's what they said..
"Use the # 242700 for about 2100 stall. this will work excellent" anyone here every tried that tci model? is this a good torque converter for mostly street / strip once a year type use?

thanks..
