To Much Money Or Not????

OK FOUND A REAR END. ITS OUT OF A 86 FORMULA, POSI, 3.42, AND DRUM BRAKES. THE ONLY THING IS, HE WANTS $300 CDN. DO YOU GUYS THINK IT IS WORTH IT OR NOT...
IF SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME INPUT THAT WOULD BE GREAT

I don't know how hard rearends are to find in Canada, but for $300, I'd hold out for someting better. I'd perfer something '89 and later (looking for those 28 spline axles) and w/ disc (the later rears will have the better PBR Calipers).

i also agree, if your going to get a performance posi rear you might as well get disk brakes..

That's about 190-200 USD. I don't think that's too bad of price provided it's in good working condition.
