Engine: Dart Little-M SBC 400

Transmission: Pro-built Automatics 700R4

Axle/Gears: Strange Engineering 3:73

Dana Pro-Built Transmission

I'm installed my Transmission and ACT 9.5" converter, I read in another post that you should remove the checkball and retainer from the end of the input shaft when installing a smaller converter? When you built the Transmission did you remove the checkball and retainer or was I suppose to remove it? I have your street/strip trans and A.C.T. 3000 Stall.

I remove the checkball on all of the 700R4's that call for the 9.5" TC setups.
