Floor jack troubles

Not sure where to ask this.
How do I get my floor jack to work again? I believe the oil level is not right. I have tried a combination of ways to get it to work but nothing has hit. Tried the spring loaded screw, rubber plug on the side, with the arm up, down, tipped this way, that way, etc.
Anyone willing to provide me instructions on how to do this is greatly thanked.

Floor jack prob?

Have you checked the seal on the part that pumps the fluid? It
might have an internal leak. You should be able to fill it through
the rubber plug with the lifting arm all the way down. If all else
fails, invest in a jack like the 3 ton one Sears sell which brings the saddle to the frame with one stroke. A friend has one and he likes it. It raises to 20.0"? which is high enough to change out
most car trannys, and usually costs under $100. Some industrial
hydraulics places will rebuild jacks, but it probably would cost over half the cost of a new jack, so why bother?

Do I fill it full then?
Do I need to then turn it a certain way to get the air out of the way?

are you talking about one of those 2.5 ton hydrolic jacks... i have a way to fix it. grab about 25 dollars... go to kragen shucks or checkers(where ever you are located in the country) and buy a new one.
