5spd question

will the tranny out of a 6 cyl car (5spd) hold up behind a stock 305...it's going in my girlfriends car so it's not gonna see track time, or slicks, and the motor is all stock for now

I'm not positive but I believe it will not bolt up because of different bolt pattern........I definitely know that the 2.8's are different but one of these guys might have better input.

i have a bellhousing from a v-8?

think that would work?

Transmission: AMERICAN POWERTRAIN- EXTREME TKX

Axle/Gears: STRANGE ENG. 12 BOLT 3:90 SPOOL

the V6 trans will bolt to a V8 but the clutch will not fit 26 spline for v8 10 spline for v6 .If you use V8 pressure plate and a clutch disk out of an s-10 4x4 2.8 v6 . everthing will go together. I have done this soo I know it will work . the low first gear in the v6 trany makes for great hole shots . beware IT WILL NOT LIVE LONG !! good luck
