Removing PS pump pully
Hey guys im trying to remove the power steering pump pully from my camaro, the one described in the sig, it seems like that is the hardest one to pull out, because there is only middle bolt that looks like a hex, or an allen wrench, but i stick it in there and no matter how much i try i cant turn it, either im not trying hard enough or i am doing it wrong, can anyone help.
Thanks
Joey

You can rent a pulley puller/installer kit from AutoZone, or buy one for around $30. The pulley is just a press-fit, and with the right puller/installer it's a breeze to install and remove.
Don't use a generic jaw-type puller, you'll trash the pulley. The right tool grabs the pulley by the ridge at the center, and pulls on this while pushing on the pump shaft. For installation, the tool threads into the pump shaft center and eases the pulley back into place.
Also...your sig didn't show up so I'm assuming this is a serpentine-belt pump.
