SLP Posi needs GM additive or no?

I know it works with gears and not clutches so I didn't think it would need the friction modifier from GM (I think thats what its called), but I want to be sure. I did a search and some people are using it. Is it needed?

No.

You are correct, the additive's job is to assist clutches in slipping gracefully. Not necessary where there are no clutches.

Ditto what RB said. No additive needed.
