HELP! Th 700 Lock-Up wireing
HELP! Th 700 Lock-Up wireing
I run a th 700 tranny mated to a non computercontrolled 408" smallblock with Holley and would need a way to manouver the Lock-Up.
1. Does anyone know how to wire the Lock-up for manual engage and disengage with a toggleswitch ?
2. Would I need to do any other modifications for a hassle-free ride?
Thank you,
Tobias Pervik, Sweden

Välkommen!
The TH700 need 12 v to lock up, you have a 3 wire connector on the transmission. You need the two outer ones on the connector. The front should get 12v when ignition is on and the back would be its ground. Just put a switch on any of them......
or you could put a switch to the ALDL like above if you have stock harness in the car.........
