Hydraulic clutch lines

I'm having a severe issue in the department of getting my hands on the stock hydraulic clutch line.. does anyone have any experience regarding who might have one or how difficult it would be to find someone who could fabricate one? Any info would be most appreciated at this point.

(note, I'm not sure if there's a difference, but it's for a v6 car)

I am doing a conversion from an auto to a TKO. I pulled the clutch master/slave parts from a donor but it was missing the hydraulic line. GM does not sell the line. They only sell the entire master/slave/reservoir setup and the lines are pressed in to the master and slave cylinders.

Maybe someone else will have better news for you.

well i burned threw mine breakin in my new engine and i ran into the same problem of u can;t buy a new one. so my dad talked to a mechanic he is freinds with and he said go to the local parts supplier for tractor trailors and get some flexable high pressure brake line. so i did it was real cheap liek a few bucks. i cut it to length and cut the ends off the old line slid them in the new stuff and put some good hose clamps aroudn them as tigth as i could, its only 19psi and this line is good for some crazy high number. well it works great, not one leak or anything and its been 1500 miles. ood luck

Hmm.. that would help if I had the stock ends.. le sigh. Thanks anyway.. maybe I can find the ends somewhere.. If the GM kit includes the master *and* slave for 177 bucks, it's almost tempting to just return the master and slave I have (and throw quite a fit while I'm at it about the parts store's incompetence for not carrying the line) and go through the dealership... this is just getting too troublesome.

The GM kit contains master, slave and reservoir. It is filled, bled and ready to go. Got mine installed last weekend.

Oh.. wow.. screw this happy horse manure.. I'm gonna go raise hell at the parts shops I got the master and slave from and talk to the guy at the GM parts counter =) Thanks

Oh.. and a note to transfixleo --- if you read this, over a year ago you asked me to let you know what it was that went wrong with this 700.. I'll post a recap on the whole thing and a result of the dissection after the V6 is back on the road and I have a chance to tear down the tranny.. should prove interesting =)
