torque convertor brand selection?
torque convertor brand selection?
ok I've been looking for the right torque convertor for about 4 months now. I talked to yank, b&m, & tci
yank suggested an their ss3200 = $900 approx(way out of my park)
tci & b&m both suggested 2400 stall after giving them the vehicle weight, tranny type, gear ratio & cam durations.
tci part no.242800
b&m part no. 70419
tci & b&m are both affordable to me. just wondering from experience and quality wise which one is better? also for cooling b&m suggested their part no.70264 and said to run through the internal cooler first then the ext. cooler.
any advice would be appreaciated
thanks.

The A.C.T. 9.5" lockup sells for $565.00, and comes with a one year warranty and a free stall change if needed, let me know? Go to their website www.actperformance.com and look for the MAG 9.5".
Check out SLP, they have a 2400 stall converter p/n 60100 made by a major mfg for about $299.95. Check it out on www.slponline.com
