Strong rear
Ok, this was just a quick idea I thought of.
I was thinking that the rears on tow-trucks are pretty big and I only assume that they are pretty strong. Has anyone heard of these things being used on a car? I don't think they would stick out the sides since most of those strucks are dulies, so the width wouldn't be a problem. They would weigh a ton, but would be worth it if they could take 500+hp/tq.
I think a little modification would be needed to the bottom of the car for that giant differential to fit under there, possibly not.
Am I completely crazy, or could this possibly work?
I'm not going to try it, but just thought of the idea.

I think you are nuts.
just kidding. I don't think it would fit without a lot of work, they are like 14" plus the chance that it is the correct width is pretty slim. And like you said they would be very heavy, but its a creative idea.
