TH400 or built 700R4?

TH400 or built 700R4?

which would be the better more cost effective choice? What kind of power could I channel with a built 700R4?

Axle/Gears: 3.23
depends wether it is a daily driver, strip/street car, or strickly strip, the overdrive is nice if it is going to be seeing a lot of street driving.

400hp in the summer and 600 next summer... can a 700R4 be built to take this? For the most part in the summer it would be a daily driver serving strip needs on the weekend....

go to www.pro-built.net ...their street/strip tranny is suppose to support up to 550HP and their NEW "limited" street tranny is suppose to support about 625HP.
