v6 T-5 parts

Well my tranny has now gone, and it needs to be rebuilt. My old man decided to drive it without checking the tranny oil( it leaks slowly) and well it only had about 1/3 of a liter in it. He blew out the input shaft bearing which over heated the bearing inbetween the input and output shafts fusing them together. Which in turn completely destroyed the front gear on the input shaft. So i am wondering how much a rebuild kit and input shaft would be? and where is a good place to get them from?

Don't bother. Just get a whole used one and swap it out. You'll end up spending at least $600 fixing a $200 transmission, and if you aren't familiar with them, you will probably overlook something and put it back together and it won't be right.
