I think maybe I need to adjust the shifter cable but really not sure. If I try to take off sometimes the engine seems like it is in 2nd gear instead of 1st. If I manually drop it into 1st it does fine no slip. It also shifts hard sometimes from 1st to 2nd. It just does this sometimes, not all the time. COuld my cable be gummed up or somethin, what do you guys think.

 

Just a thought, but maybe a vacuum line?.

 

check the ATF, if you have too much, or its really cold outside, the tranny can do strange things..
