Clutch fluid type for T-5 out of a 85 TA
after i do my t-5 swap, do i need to add any clutch fluid? where does it go and what kind should i add. i know it is a slave to the brake master cylinder, but how exactly does that work?
this is my first tranny swap so i'm trying to get all the bugs worked out before i open the tool box

It uses brake fluid.
It doesn't ordinarily consume fluid and need replacing, like engine oil does; but it doesn't hurt to top it off in case it's low.
As far as how it works, it's just like brakes.... you push on the master cyl, that forces fluid down the line, which pushes a piston in the slave cyl, which moves the clutch linkage.
