Help!!!
I just bought my first camaro back in august, a 1983 Z-28, 305 CFI w/ the automatic overdrive trans. It has about 115,000 miles. For about the past month i have noticed that the tranny is taking longer and longer to go into gear. While it is running in park there is a high speed clicking noise that gets quieter while in drive. It is now to the point where I have to let the car warm up for about 15-20 minutes before it will even move. Once it finally does engage it seems to drive alright, the clicking noise is still there and fluctuates with the rpms. I have been told that it might be the pump inside the tranny or the vaccum modulator(not sure if thats what its called). Any help would be great cuz I miss my baby!!
